Little Sprouts in full bloom at the Arboretum with children’s activities
It may be spring break for Fayette County public school students, but that does not mean the learning stopped for kids.
Children were busy Wednesday in the Little Sprouts program at the Arboretum, the state botanical garden of Kentucky, making mud pies and planing vegetables.
On Wednesday’s during March, participants learned how to spot the different types of trees, create crafts out of seeds and took hikes looking for animal homes in the Arboretum.
