Man escapes from Blackburn Correctional Complex

Police are searching for a Blackburn Correctional Complex inmate who escaped from the prison about 7:45 p.m. Thursday.

Jason Arnold, 32, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections.

Arnold is serving a five-year sentence for theft by unlawful taking, and he was convicted in October, according to the state corrections website. He is eligible for parole in August.

Those with information about Arnold may call Kentucky State Police or Lexington police .
