Owingsville man killed in single-vehicle crash

An Owingsville man was killed Monday in a single-vehicle crash in Bath County, Kentucky State Police said.

Alan G. Conway, 51, was westbound on Ky. 36 in Bath County about 4:30 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle, which swerved off the eastbound lane, struck a utility pole and stopped in an open field, according to state police.

Conway died at the scene.

The accident is under investigation.
