One person was taken to a hospital Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle collision involving a Columbia Gas truck on West Third Street in Lexington.
A black Volkswagen Passat and the truck collided just before 8:30 a.m., police said. The truck then hit a building and damaged a utility pole.
By 9:30 a.m., fire crews were assisting in the clean-up and the Passat was being loaded onto a tow truck. The car had front-end damage, and the airbag was deployed. The person taken to the hospital had injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening, according to the fire department.
