The Kentucky Theatre has added a special showing of Purple Rain at 9:40 p.m. Monday in tribute to legendary music artist Prince who died last week. The film is rated R. More information at Kentuckytheater.com.

Swim lesson registration opens for Lexington public pools
Swim lesson online registration opens at noon and will continue through May 15 at parks.lexingtonky.gov. Or you can do walk-in register from noon until 7 p.m. at the Picadome Administrative offices, 469 Parkway Drive.
Time to bust out that flannel shirt
Grunge rockers Pearl Jam will invade Rupp Arena for an 8 p.m. show that is close to selling-out. ($71; Rupparena.com)
Thursday
The Rolex will have the Horse Park jumping
Expect 60,000 to 100,000 people at the Kentucky Horse Park for dressage, crosscountry and stadium jumping through Sunday. $20-$40 daily. Children 12 years and under do not need a ticket with Adult ticket purchase. Separate event seating required. (RK3DE.org)
NFL draft kicks off in Chicago
Last year the Cats had a first-rounder in Bud Dupree. This year doesn’t look promising. The draft will end on Saturday, where some ex-Cats such as Ryan Flannigan, A.J.
