Firefighter hurt, house damaged in Masterson Station fire
Lexington fire investigators were working Monday to determine the cause of a house fire overnight in the 2800 block of Greenway Court in the Masterson Station subdivision.
Crews arrived at the fire about 8:30 p.m. Sunday and knocked down the blaze about 1 a.m., Battalion Chief Todd Samuelson said. There was significant damage, Samuelson said.
WKYT reported Sunday that firefighter was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation. Samuelson declined to confirm whether the firefighter was taken for smoke inhalation but said he had been treated and released from a hospital.
