Health department to hold rabies clinic May 5

A May 4 clinic will give Lexington pet owners a shot at a low-cost rabies vaccination.

The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department’s annual Rabies Vaccination Clinic will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. May 5 at Douglass Park, 726 Georgetown Street. Vaccinations will cost $3. All cats must be in a carrier, and all dogs must be on leashes. In the event of inclement weather, the clinic date is subject to change. The health department will provide updated information at Lexingtonhealthdepartment.org.
