Pikeville house destroyed in overnight fire

A fire overnight has rendered a Pikeville house a total loss.

Flames were coming out the roof and windows of the house at 113 Walters Road when crews arrived just after 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to a news release issued by city officials.

No injuries were reported. The homeowner was able to escape the blaze before crews arrived.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
