Kentucky Gives Day: 200 charities, one-stop online donating

More than 200 nonprofit organizations from throughout the state will participate in the fourth annual Kentucky Gives Day on Tuesday. The 24-hour online giving campaign aims to raise as much money as possible from midnight through 11:59 p.m. EST, giving Kentuckians the opportunity to support causes they care about through tax-deductible donations — all through a single online site, Kygives.org.

“Nonprofit organizations provide so much to Kentucky’s communities, and this is an important and fun opportunity for Kentuckians to give back to those who serve us and our neighbors so well,” said Danielle Clore, executive director of the Kentucky Nonprofit Network, Kentucky’s state association of charities coordinating the event.

Additional information and a complete list of participating charities is available at Kygives.org.
