Lex-Care: Single mom needs $430 for rent
Lydia Jacobs, with the Bluegrass Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living, is requesting $430 to help a client with her rent. The client is a single mother of two children, ages 10 and 4. She was unemployed for three months and has struggled to make ends meet using help from family members and her tax return to pay bills. She is now employed full time as a security officer, but is struggling to make up for the months that she got behind on her bills. This assistance will make it possible for her get caught up on her rent and prevent any risk of eviction for this family.
