Coroner releases name of 36-year-old Lexington homicide victim
A 36-year-old was Lexington’s latest homicide victim, according to the Fayette County coroner’s office.
Demetrius Henry was found with gunshot wounds on Village Drive, the coroner’s office said in a press release. Lexington police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of Village and Cambridge drives. Police found Henry about 12 a.m.
He died at 12:48 a.m. Monday at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, according to the coroner.
An autopsy was scheduled Monday and funeral arrangements were pending. Lexington police said they had no new information Monday afternoon.
