Motorcycle strikes boat hauled by truck, stopping I-64/75 traffic

A collision about 4 p.m. between a motorcycle and a boat being hauled by a truck southbound on Interstate 75 and 64 in Fayette County stopped traffic for about three hours Friday.

Police said the motorcycle driver was traveling in a group when she came into contact with the boat around Mile Marker 116. The boat fell from the trailer and was lying in the interstate.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
