National Arts Program returns to ArtsPlace

The National Arts Program is designed to give all artists, at all skill levels, an opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional manner and to compete for cash prizes. Works of art may be in one of several mediums, including painting, works on paper, photography, sculpture, craft or mixed media.

More than 60 submissions were received from 56 artists, and all will be on display.

The exhibition was judged in amateur, intermediate, professional and youth classifications. Seventeen cash prizes totaling $2,600 will be awarded. Honorable mention ribbons may be awarded, and all artists will receive a Certificate of Participation in The National Arts Program.

An awards reception will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
