Lexington honors Orlando shooting victims
People gathered at Lexington’s Triangle Park Monday night as the fountain was lit to honor the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando.
In addition the park fountain, Lexington’s helix garage was illuminated with rainbow colors in tribute to those killed and wounded.
A crowd of about 50 gathered in the park to remember the victims of the tragedy. The victims included former Georgetown resident Darryl “DJ” Roman Burt II.
The shooting, which occurred early Sunday, is the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.
