Main pool at Southland Aquatic Center has temporarily closed
The main pool at the Southland Aquatic Center is closed for repairs, the city announced Tuesday afternoon.
City spokeswoman Susan Straub said the mechanical equipment that controls chlorine levels is being fixed, and officials hoped the work would be finished Wednesday.
In the meantime, the baby pool remains open, and admission for children and adults has been lowered to $1.
The city plans to post updates on the parks website at lexingtonky.gov/parks and on the parks Facebook page.
