Blue Grass Community Foundation is accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving Anderson, Bourbon, Fayette, Franklin, Harrison, Jessamine, Madison, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford counties for grant projects that focus on early childhood education and family literacy. Grants of $2,500 to $10,000 will be awarded. A total of $100,000 in grant funds is available for the 2016 grant cycle.
Deadline to apply online is Aug. 15. The online grant application can be accessed on the Blue Grass Community Foundation’s website at Bgcf.org.
Organizations are limited to one request per annual grant cycle. All 501(c)3 applicant organizations must have a current GoodGiving.net portrait.
GoodGiving.net is a free searchable database that contains information about Kentucky nonprofits. Schools and exempt government units are not eligible to have GoodGiving.net portraits, but are eligible to apply for grants. These organizations will be required to upload supporting documentation within the online grant application.
