Lex-Care: Former homeless veteran needs $500 for rent

Dana Schneider-Kovach, from Volunteers of America, is requesting $500 for a client who served two years in the Army. He has been a homeless veteran for years and is working with Volunteers of America’s Supportive Services for Veteran Families to get an apartment. He works full time but won’t receive a full paycheck until after his rent is due. Assistance with his rent will help put him on the right track. Going forward, he will earn enough money to pay for his rent and utility bills.
