Lexington firefighter’s funeral arrangements announced

Funeral arrangements for Lexington Firefighter Matt Logsdon were announced Thursday night.

Logsdon’s obituary said visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Highlands Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville following the service.

Logsdon died at a Louisville hospital on Wednesday after battling stage four cancer. He was 42. Logsdon worked with the Lexington Fire Department for 10 years and was diagnosed with cancer in January.
