Lex-Care: Army veteran needs $500 for rent
Dana Schneider-Kovach is requesting $500 to help a client pay his rent. The client served in the Army for seven years and was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He receives $733 a month from the Veterans Administration; however, due to an overpayment, some of his wages have been garnished.
He lives with his adult daughter and two grandchildren, ages 10 and 12. Receiving assistance will prevent eviction.
