Lex-Care: Retiree needs $500 to pay rent
Melissa Stiff, a social worker with the Lexington Senior Citizens Center, is working with a retired client who needs $500 to pay his rent. The man was dealing with a death in his family and came up short on the rent. The landlord will work with the tenant to help him get back on his feet. Once the rent is paid, he will be able to meet his future needs.
