Register for 51st annual Kentucky Al-Anon convention

The 51st annual Kentucky Al-Anon convention will be Sept. 16-18 at the Clarion Hotel, 1950 Newtown Pike. The conference will include Al-Anon, AA and Alateen speakers from Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and Texas, as well as several workshops. Early-bird registration fee for the entire weekend is $35.

At Al Anon family group meetings, friends and family members of problem drinkers share their experiences and learn how to apply the principles of the Al-Anon program to their situations. Younger family members and friends attend Alateen meetings. They learn that they are not alone in the problems they face, and that they have choices that can lead to greater peace of mind, whether the drinker continues to drink or not.
