Free overdose awareness event on Saturday at Jacobson Park

The fourth annual International Overdose Awareness Day event will be from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Jacobson Park’s Shelter No. 6.

This free event will feature a memorial photo wall, “Bluebirds of Hope” community project, local resources for those grieving, in need of recovery or already in recovery, free T-shirts, wristbands and snacks, On the Move Art Mobile Studio for kids, a motivational speaker, overdose response training and naloxone distribution.
