Frankfort robbery and shooting leaves two men dead
Two men were shot and killed during a robbery Tuesday night in Frankfort, according to media reports.
The incident occurred at about 6 p.m. Tuesday in a home near the intersection of Alexander Street and Leslie Avenue, where a man called officers to report a robbery and that two men were shot, according to WKYT. The person who called was a friend of the victims.
Jared Miles Moore, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:45 p.m., according to Franklin County Coroner William Harrod. Dustin Wayne Johnson, 24, died at 6:55 p.m. at Frankfort Regional Medical Center, Harrod said. Both men are from Frankfort.
Police believe there are two suspects and two cars involved, according to the State-Journal. No arrests have been made. Some electronics are missing from the home, investigators believe.
Police have no suspects in their investigation. Autopsies are scheduled for Moore and Johnson on Wednesday.
