Two men were charged with assault Sunday after a third man was stabbed in a Franklin County mobile home park.

Randy Hazlett, 53, and Jerrimia Hazlett, 27, were arrested and charged with first-degree assault, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.

The victim, Donnie R. Campbell, was stabbed in the chest and taken to University of Kentucky Hospital with a possible collapsed lung. Campbell is expected to recover from his wounds, the sheriff’s office said.

Franklin County sheriff’s deputies responded to Capital Mobile Home Park One at about 4 a.m. Sunday.

The Hazletts had entered Campbell’s home and a fight ensued. Deputies found the Hazletts as they fled the scene in a vehicle. Both had blood on them and minor injuries.

The Hazletts were lodged in the Franklin County jail but only Jerrimia Hazlett remained there Sunday afternoon. He was also charged with driving under the influence. The sheriff’s office said more charges will likely be filed.
