Juvenile shot dead in Franklin County early Sunday

A juvenile died after a shooting early Sunday in Frankfort.
Capt. Daniel Wills, of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, said officers responded to a scene on Leathers Lane at about 1 a.m. Sunday. He said two juveniles were involved, but no information about the circumstances was provided.
“We’re still early on in the investigation,” Wills said late Monday morning.
Franklin County Coroner Will Harrod said the juvenile has been identified, but he is not yet releasing the name because of the status of the investigation.
