Frankfort Kroger reopens after fire
The Brighton Park Kroger in Frankfort reopened after a fire forced it to close overnight Monday.
Kroger spokesman Tim McGurk said the store, which is undergoing remodeling, reopened at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The fire, which burned for about 30 minutes Monday afternoon, was contained to the roof, and no smoke or fire got into the building, McGurk said. McGurk said store employees “worked through the evening and this morning to reopen quickly.”
