The Jessamine County Fairgrounds will be the setting for the All-American Burger Bash on Friday and Saturday. The free event will feature a balloon glow on Friday, a burger grill-off competition on Saturday, and a talent competition. Other features include: kids’ games, inflatables, pet costume contest, watermelon eating contest and food trucks. Last Beef Cattle Association cookout of the year
The Jessamine County Beef Cattle Association will be cooking from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at the Tractor Supply parking lot at 1015 North Main Street in Nicholasville. This is the last cookout of the year. Proceeds benefit local charities. The menu includes ribeye steak sandwiches, hamburgers and all-beef hotdogs.
