Major road in Central Kentucky reopened after crash involving construction worker
A major road in Nicholasville has reopened after an early morning accident Tuesday, according to Nicholasville police.
The collision took place at US-27 and KY-169 and it involved a vehicle and a construction worker, according to police. All northbound lanes of US-27 were shut down Tuesday morning while police investigated the wreck.
Police said the road reopened just before 8 a.m.
Police have asked people to avoid the area.
