Officials find human remains in Kentucky woods while searching for missing person
Officials in Jessamine County found human skeletal remains while investigating a missing person case Thursday, according to Kentucky State Police.
The remains were found in a wooded area along Sulphur Well Road, according to KSP. They will be transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for identification.
No other details about the remains were immediately available Friday.
The investigation is being handled by KSP.
