A building collapsed in Madison County Wednesday, causing injuries to multiple people, according to Gov. Andy Beshear and WKYT, the Herald-Leader’s news-reporting partner.

The incident happened at a construction site with God’s Outreach Food Bank, Beshear said. WKYT reported four people were injured, but the severity of their injuries is unknown.

One of the victims was pinned underneath a truss and had to be rescued, according to WKYT.

“First responders are on the scene, and we will share more information as it becomes available,” Beshear said in a tweet. “Let’s pray for all those affected.”

The cause for the collapse is under investigation. WKYT reported that OSHA plans to investigate the incident.
