Woman found dead in KY parking lot. Investigators determining if weather was cause

A woman was found dead in the parking lot of a senior living home Monday in Madison County, said Madison County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison.

The woman was found between two vehicles in the parking lot of Pebblecreek Crossing Senior Living, on Big Hill Avenue.

Cornelison did not release the woman’s name, but he said she was a 69-year-old Madison County woman.

Winter weather conditions could have been a factor in the woman’s death, but an official cause of death won’t be determined until an autopsy is completed.

Foul play is also not suspected, but Cornelison noted it could not be ruled out until autopsy results returned.

The autopsy will be Monday or Tuesday, he said.
