Madison County: New book features historical photos

A reception is planned Dec. 6 in Richmond to unveil a new book with 1,500 historical photographs of Madison County.

The reception will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Madison County Public Library, 507 West Main Street.

The 352-page book, which sells for $49.95, was published by the Madison County Pictorial History Book Committee. Proceeds benefit Hospice Care Plus of Richmond and Berea.

Reserved copies and new books also will be available at the library from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 5 and thereafter in Richmond at the main Central Bank, the Visitors Center, the Chamber of Commerce and Peoples Bank branches in Berea and Waco.
