Woodford Historical Society to present program about Margaret Hill

The next meeting of the Woodford County Historical Society will be at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 24 at the society’s headquarters, 121 Rose Hill Avenue, Versailles. The program, “Margaret Hall: Then and Now,” will be presented by Judy Wigglesworth Phillips, a third-generation alumna. Guests are welcome.

Masons to celebrate 200th anniversary

Landmark Lodge No. 41, Free and Accepted Masons, l will celebrate its 200th anniversary on Aug. 26 at 141 North Main Street, Versailles. At 5 p.m., a Kentucky highway marker will be erected and dedicated in a public ceremony.
