Jewelry is stolen from Versailles K-Mart

Jewelry was stolen from a Versailles Kmart early Thursday, according to Versailles police.

The burglar is suspected to be the same person who tried to rob two other Kmarts the same night, in Louisville and Edgewood, Versailles police said in a news release.

The burglar entered through the garden center at 2:55 a.m., went to the jewelry section, and smashed a display case with a with a metal rod, the release said. The burglar left at 2:58 a.m.
