Help apprehend the Andover credit card thief

Police are asking for your help this week to solve the theft and fraudulent use of credit cards in the Andover neighborhood. If you have information about this crime, don’t try to take action on your own. Anonymous tips, including photos and videos, can be submitted by texting LEXPD plus the tip to CRIMES (274637). Crime of the Week

At 9:30 a.m. Nov. 16, someone broke into a vehicle on Sherborne Place in the Andover neighborhood. The thief took credit cards, which were soon used at nearby businesses. The thief and his vehicle were caught on camera.

Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the solving of this crime.

Suspect of the Week

This week’s Suspect of the Week is Benjamin Christian, 24, who is wanted on charges of felony possession of stolen property. He is described as white, standing 6 feet tall, weighing 165 pounds (see photo above).
