Masked women tie up cashier, rob UPS Store
Two women wearing masks and hoodies tied up a UPS Store cashier and then stole the cash from the register Tuesday night, police say.
The two women came in the front door of The UPS Store on Lakecrest Circle at 6:50 p.m. and implied that they had a gun, police Lt. Jackie Newman said.
The women used zip ties to restrain the cashier and then put him in the mailroom, Newman said. They took cash from the register and then left out the back door.
Police searched the Beaumont area but had not found the women as of about 9 p.m.
