Centre Parkway drive-by shooting injures teen; police looking for suspects
A teenager was injured Sunday night in a shooting on Centre Parkway in Lexington, according to police and media reports.
Gunshots were reported in the 1200 block of Centre Parkway at 8:24 p.m. Sunday, according to police. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the ankle. WKYT reports that the victim was 18 years old.
The victim, who is expected to recover, was uncooperative and did not provide much information to investigators, police said.
A witness told officers five people left the area in a silver car, possibly a Toyota Camry after the shots were fired, according to police.
