Police find suspect accused of robbing Lexington Cash Express
A man who was wanted in connection with a robbery earlier this month was arrested Sunday, according to Lexington police.
Derrick Vaughn Borders, 53, is accused in the robbery of the Cash Express at 1145 East New Circle Road on June 6, according to police. He had additional outstanding warrants on charges of burglary, receiving stolen property, and a second robbery charge.
Borders was arrested on Thunderstick Drive, according to the Fayette County jail website.
A suspect implied he had a weapon and demanded money from Cash Express on East New Circle about 5:20 p.m. on June 6, according to police..
