Man injured in overnight shooting in Lexington

A man was shot and wounded late Wednesday on Roosevelt Boulevard in Lexington, according to police.

The man was shot in the back of the leg just before midnight, according to police. He was taken to a hospital with injuries that weren’t thought to be life threatening.

While talking to investigators, the victim was not forthcoming with information about the shooting or any suspects, according to police.
