Lexington police ask for help identifying suspects in string of vapor shop burglaries
Lexington police are asking for the public’s help as they work to identify three people caught on video running into a Lexington vapor shop and stealing items.
In the surveillance video, three people who police think could be teenagers or young adults can be seen moving quickly into the store and taking items from shelves.
Police think the same group of people may have targeted Lexington vapor shops at least seven times since the beginning of November, according to police. The businesses being targeted are on Richmond Road and Woodhill Drive.
The suspects’ faces are not visible in the video released by police, but investigators hope someone may have information.
Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call police at 859-258-3600.
Anonymous tips, including photos and videos, can be submitted by texting LEXPD plus the tip to 274637. Information can also be sent anonymously through Bluegrass Crime Stoppers at 859-253-2020 or Bluegrasscrimestoppers.com.
