High school cafeteria worker admits to sex with student on school grounds

A former Nicholas County High School cafeteria employee has been arrested on multiple rape charges after she admitted to having sex with a student on school grounds while school was in session on more than one occasion.

Celena D. White, 36, of Carlisle, was arrested Tuesday by Kentucky State Police on four third-degree rape charges, according to court records.

The arrest citation said White admitted to KSP detectives that she had sex with a 17-year-old student at the high school where she worked in the kitchen.

Nicholas County Schools Superintendent Doug Bechanan told WKYT Wednesday White has been terminated. WKYT is the Lexington Herald-Leader’s reporting partner.

White was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
