Two men die after shooting outside a Kentucky O’Charley’s restaurant

Two men died after a shooting at an O’ Charley’s in Warren County.

The Bowling Green Police Department said in a Facebook post that they were called regarding shots fired in the parking lot of the restaurant on Scottsville Road at 10:04 p.m. Friday.

When they arrived, they found Elijsha Taylor, 21, and Michael Russell, 40, both of Bowling Green, with gunshot wounds.

Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene, while Russell was taken to an area hospital, where he later died, police said.

Police said they think “the incident was related to a long-standing dispute” between the victims and suspect.

“At this time, we believe there are prior connections/relationships between the victims and suspect,” police said.

The Daily News reported that police had not made any arrests in the case as of 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

“There is no evidence, at this time, to suggest the argument leading to the shooting was related to O’Charley’s, their food, or their service,” police said in the Facebook statement.
