Lexington police investigating ‘suspicious’ Alexandria Drive death as a homicide

A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was found dead Monday morning at a Lexington house.

Police found the woman just after 10 a.m. at a house in the 2200 block of Alexandria Drive. The woman’s cause of death has not been determined, but the death was “suspicious” and being investigated as a homicide.

The victim’s name has not been released.

This is Lexington’s third homicide of the year so far and the first this month.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 859-258-3600.
