The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a Lexington woman who is accused of blocking a school bus with her car, then nearly hitting a sheriff’s deputy.

The sheriff’s office said Nicole Stewart, 33, blocked a bus on D. Anders Road about eight miles west of London on Friday morning.

While a deputy was talking with her, the sheriff’s office said Stewart “sped away nearly hitting” the deputy, according to a news release.

Stewart’s car was found soon afterward behind a business about three miles away, off Ky. 192.
