Police seek help finding man wanted in murder of 2 last fall

Lexington police are asking for the public’s help finding a teen who is accused of killing two people and injuring a third in a daytime shooting on Winchester Road last fall.

Police said Saturday that they have warrants charging Kenneth Jacoby Jackson, 18, with two counts of murder and one count of first-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment and tampering with physical evidence.

Two other suspects, John Boulder, 21, and De’Shaun Armor, 20, were charged in January in connection with the Oct. 19 shooting, which left Dwayne Slaughter and Darrian Webb, both 18, dead.

A detective testified in court in February that the shooting was in retaliation for derogatory comments that had been made against gang members.

Police previously said they had charged a third person in connection with the case, but his name had not been released because he was a juvenile.

On Saturday, police asked anyone with information about Jackson’s location to contact them or make an anonymous tip through Bluegrass Crime Stoppers at (859) 253-2020 or www.bluegrasscrimestoppers.com.
