Lexington woman charged with murder, robbery after victim struck by vehicle

Lexington police have arrested and charged a woman in the death of a victim struck by a vehicle two weeks ago.

Jacquetta Perry, 53, was taken into custody Wednesday. She’s charged with murder, robbery and evidence tampering. She’s accused of killing Eugenia Keens, 48, in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Martha Court.

Police said at the time of the killing that a white SUV hit Keens and then fled the scene. Officers were called to the scene about 4:30 a.m. on June 10.

Perry was being held at the Fayette County Detention Center on a $260,000 bond, court records show.
