Kentucky man charged with 12 counts of child porn possession, state police say

A Laurel County man has been charged with 12 counts of possessing child pornography by the Kentucky State Police.

Andrew K. Grigsby, 25, was taken into custody Tuesday after he became the subject of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. State police said they discovered Grigsby was uploading images of child sexual exploitation online.

KSP said they executed a search warrant, interviewed Grigsby and seized equipment used to facilitate the crime. The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Grigsby was arrested in London and booked in the Laurel County Correctional Center just after 8 p.m., online jail records show. He was being held on a $10,000 bond, and was scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Grigsby’s charge is a Class D felony, which could be punishable of 1-5 years in prison.
