Homicide victim was found in a shallow grave in Ky. Police want help identifying him.

Kentucky State Police have asked for help in identifying a homicide victim whose body was found in Boyd County.

The man’s remains were found Saturday in a shallow grave off East Park Drive, state police said in a news release.

An autopsy conducted Tuesday indicated that the man’s death was a homicide, state police said. They said forensic techniques are being used to help identify the man, but his identity is still not known.

The man was white, between 22 and 35 years old and had long dark hair. He was about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed 140 to 160 pounds.

Anyone who thinks they might know who the man is or who has information about the crime is asked to call state police at (606) 928-6421.
