Man charged with murder, robbery in fatal Lindy Lane shooting in Lexington
Lexington police have charged a man with murder in connection with the death of a man on Lindy Lane earlier this week.
Jameel Elias Cox, 28, is charged with murder, first-degree robbery and evidence tampering, according to police. He is accused of shooting and killing 32-year-old Aaron Leach at Leach’s home on Monday.
Police first responded to the home in the 1500 block of Lindy Lane just after 5:15 p.m. Monday. They found Leach unresponsive in the home.
Cox is being held in the Fayette County jail.
