Lexington business hit with bomb threat. Woman wanted off early, police say

A woman is accused of calling in a bomb threat to a Lexington business in an effort to get out of work early, according to her arrest citation.

Kaithlyn Barnhouse, 25, is charged with second-degree terroristic threatening, according to jail and court records.

Barnhouse is accused of using her cellphone to call in the threat about 6:30 p.m. to Galls Inc. off Russell Cave Road, where she was working Wednesday. She admitted to making the call and showed investigators her phone and call history, according to her arrest citation.

Barnhouse was arrested about 40 minutes after the call, police said. Police found her outside with other evacuated employees after learning the call was made from the Galls location and came from her phone number, according to the citation.
